Design Process
1. Define the Project
In our first meeting, we discuss your needs and vision. If you have a few photos of spaces that you love, this is a great time to share them. We define the project scope and establish an aesthetic direction, and identify as many design elements as possible needed for the project.
2. Measure the Space
I visit your space to take detailed measurements. For virtual projects, I send you a list of every measurement I need.
3. Design Concept Boards
Within 2-4 weeks, I will create concept boards to review with you (usually 2). This can vary depending on scope and the detail of your vision, but they are generally digital and consist of colors, fabrics, materials, and representative pieces that capture the ambiance of the space.
4. Bring the Design to Life
Based on your feedback on the concept boards, we choose one direction with which to move forward. I will create 3D renderings of your space to help visualize the designs and make decisions easier. At this point, we can start purchasing! In parallel, I work on any specific revisions where needed.
Fees
Design fees are quoted at a flat fee and can vary based on scope, timeline, and other elements. A minimum $10-20,000 furnishing budget is recommended for a full room refresh.
